TheBalm Down Boy Blush (review/swatches)
It's safe for me to announce that I love TheBalm. Its an underrated brand but definitely holds it's own.
I'm particularly fond of their line of blushes. They are so silky, pigmented and blendable that I was left beyond impressed. For the price of $21, the quality matches up to other blushes with a higher price tag.
Down boy is a soft bubble gum pink blush. It there is a slight blue undertone which is more flatting on those with fairer skin. I'm a warm fair-medium complexion and I can wear Down Boy very lightly even though it is a "cool" toned pink. As with all the blushes from TheBalm, Down Boy is very pigmented so go lightly on it or face the chance of looking clown-ish.
The packaging is very sturdy and slim - which is convenient for easy storage. It includes a mirror and no annoying low-quality applicator. The art work is pretty awesome but then again... that is standard of TheBalm.
Pros: Very blendable, finely milled, silky, very pigmented, sleek, compact, beautiful packaging.
Cons: Too cool toned for me. Generally works best with fairer complexion (a pro for those who that applies to).
